ود خاشقجي
paints faces, feelings, and the doors in between
Pastel faces, ink mandalas, and hand-painted furniture from a Jeddah studio. Wed teaches, builds a community for autistic children and their families, and dreams of a centre where art helps people heal.
In her own words
A painter who lets the face arrive on its own, a teacher who starts with feeling, and a mother who built a community when her son needed one.

pick a door
Wed moves between canvas, paper, furniture and camera. The same garden of colour runs through all of it.
From the studio
Each painting is one of a kind. Add the ones you love to your basket and Wed will reply with price, size and delivery.
Sessions & workshops
no experience needed
Wed is an art teacher first. Her sessions are slow, warm and hands-on, for beginners, families and groups. New rounds are announced on Instagram.
Innovative Learning Community · ILC
and grew into a community
Wed is the mother of an autistic teenager. She founded ILC in Jeddah so that autistic children have places to play, move and belong, and so their families do not have to find the way alone.
Movement, play and team games, adapted so every child can join in.
Time on the court together, at a pace that works for autistic kids.
Wed helps parents bring their children into school and community life.
The dream
Wed dreams of a Healing Center built from many art forms at once: rooms of colour, sound, texture, scent and breath that help people reach what they feel, and keep healing long after they leave.
